The Department of Psychology at the University of Houston (UH) anticipates filling a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in its Industrial/Organizational Psychology Program. We seek a colleague who can contribute to the success and growth of our research-oriented doctoral program by (1) building and maintaining a nationally competitive research program that is recognized by high-quality publications and external funding (as appropriate), (2) mentoring doctoral students to pursue research careers, (3) and teaching graduate and undergraduate courses. Applicants should have either completed a Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology or related field upon appointment or be near completion. Demonstration of a record of publishing innovative research and a commitment to open science practices is preferred. We welcome applicants with a variety of research interests that complement those of our current faculty members and fosters collaboration within the program and across the university. We are particularly interested in scholars with research interests in occupational health psychology or technology and the future of work.

Employees are expected to have a home address in the state of Texas for the duration of their appointments.
